About Search Shelf

This is a trial

This site exists to test the method, not to give advice. The videos were chosen by an AI assistant, working only from each video's title and description. Nobody has watched them. The site's owner has not reviewed the selection, and the name, the list of channels and the choices are all placeholders. Search engines are asked not to index it.

Search Shelf does not count votes and does not guess from an algorithm. A person, or on this trial an AI assistant, chooses each video and writes down why. The reason is printed on the video's page, so you can disagree with it.

How a video gets here

We start from a list of channels and, where useful, searches on this subject, and what they turn up goes into a review queue. A good video can also sit on a channel that mostly covers something else, so 10 on the shelf came singly, from a page that pointed to them, and each of those pages is named. Each video is accepted with a written reason or rejected with a written reason. Nothing is listed automatically. Shorts are left out, and a check flags wording such as income claims and affiliate links for a closer look. The flag prompts a look. It does not decide.

What the labels mean

The shelf holds 26 from trade press or conference, 19 from sells in this field, 14 from independent practitioner, 14 from official source, 13 from teaching or conference talk.

The order

Videos run in date order, newest first, on every list. The order says nothing about quality: a newer video is not a better one, so read the label and the reason.

Dates

Every video shows the month it was published. Anything older than 2.5 years carries a warning to check it against current guidance.

The descriptions

Each page shows the reason a video was chosen and, under "Selected by", who chose it and on what basis. Treat the text as a pointer, not a verdict. The data was last rebuilt on 2026-11-06.

Videos and creators

Every video plays in YouTube's own embedded player, with YouTube's own controls and any ads the creator has chosen. Nothing is downloaded, rehosted or altered. Titles and thumbnails are shown as YouTube provides them and are refreshed monthly. If you are a creator and want a video removed from this list, use the contact details on the privacy page.
